All I want for Christmas… (and my birthday and Valentines Day and Halloween and every other day)

All I want for Christmas is youuuuu…. Ha! No, I want books!

I thought I’d share with all you lovely people what books I’ve been loving and what trailers I haven’t….

Let’s start with books. I am in the middle of reading fantastically amazing book titled….. Wait for ittttttt……

Paper Towns by John freaking Green. So far I am in love with book but I will tell you again I’m only 75% through it so no spoilers people! For those of you who don’t know what it’s about, here’s the summary from Goodreads.

Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows. After their all-nighter ends, and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees the girl he thought he knew…

Awesome, huh?

Before Paper Town I had been reading this amazing book called……

The perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I love this book a lot although I really confused toward the end. Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know. This is a fast read, only about 200 pages. You’re not gonna wanna put it down. 🙂

Okay now, this book is written by one of my all time favorite authors Cassandra Clare (author of the Mortal Instruments series). This book is technically a “children’s” book, but don’t let that stop you, so was Harry Potter!

This expected series is gonna be so good! I just know it!

Now onto trailers…. phew… okay… here goes…  INSURGENT! Why? Why? Why? First off… NO THEO JAMES. But that’s beside the point. Nothing in that trailer made sense with the book. Nothing! I mean, Did I read the book wrong? What’s with that box? I don’t know. I just– I don’t know. If feel differently about this, Lemme just say I’m glad you like it. Someone needs to. If you have any thought about this let me know in the comments. I’d like to here them. Any if you’re like “What on earth is this crazy nerd going on about?” Here you go! (and if you’re wondering how i just read your mind…. I don’t know. I’m psychic.)

Winter Wonderland book tag

“Baby it’s cold… Baby it’s cold outside! ”

So today where I live it’s pretty freaking cold out. It’s the kind of day where you just want a Snuggie and to watch movies/read books all day…. Or blog because you’re insane (like me!).  I’m gonna to do the Winter Wonderland tag, even if it’s not winter yet. It feels like it!

What book is so happy and sweet that it warms your heart?

I would have to say… Dash and Lily’s book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. This book even takes place around Christmastime so it works. But it’s also really lighthearted and cute, but very intelligent and witty.

What is your favorite book with a white cover?

This cover may not be all white but I’m gonna go with it. If I stay by Gayle Forman. I love this book. Unlike a lot of other books I read the main girl, Mia, is not at all annoying. She’s awesome, and her parents are super cool as well as Adam.

You’re sitting on the couch snuggled in a onesie and drinking a nice, hot cup of hot cocoa but what MONSTER book are you reading?

The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. Awesome? Yes. Scary? Heck yeah. Especially in the beginning. Pale bowler hat guy in the closet… Nails scratching at the window at night… creepy, huh? That’s just the beginning of that book.

It started snowing! Which fictional characters would you love to have a snowball fight with?

Shadowhunters! In Clockwork Angel or City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. That would be really fun. Though it might get messy…;/

Sadly your fire is about to go out. Which book would you tear the last few chapters out of to add to the fire? (hypothetically speaking)

Allegiant by Veronica Roth. It’s just so sad… *sniff*

What book is so close to your heart that you would give it as a gift to someone this Christmas that wants to gets into reading?

I guess that’d have to be…

Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. These are the books that made me love Young Adult Fantasy. I’ve gone a long way from then but these will always be close to my heart.

There you go! Byyyeeeeeee
